The Osseo Area Schools Early Childhood & Family Education (EC&FE) preschool and prekindergarten programs prepare children for success in kindergarten and beyond!
Register now for the district’s Early Childhood & Family Education (EC&FE) 2021-2022 preschool and pre-K program, available at six elementary schools (Cedar Island, Elm Creek, Fernbrook, Oak View, Rice Lake, Woodland) and Arbor View and Willow Lane Early Childhood Centers. Morning and afternoon sessions are available, and classes meet two to five days per week. Class options also include a hands-on online class and outdoor Nature Play Area at Arbor View Early Childhood Center.
Children must be at least three years old by Sept. 1, 2021 to register for preschool and four years old by Sept. 1, 2021 to register for prekindergarten.
Our Early Childhood & Family Education (EC&FE) preschool and pre-K program has been awarded a 4 STAR rating by Parent Aware. Each class is led by a licensed teacher and paraprofessional with curriculum designed to prepare children for kindergarten school readiness! Free limited transportation at the start and end of the elementary school day is available for eligible pre-K students who live 0.8 mile or more from school. (Learn more about the district's transportation guidelines.) Tuition is on a sliding fee scale based on household income, and scholarships are available for eligible students.
Application deadlines & materials
Space is limited, so families are encouraged to register by 12 p.m. on Feb. 25 to participate in a random lottery drawing on Feb. 26. Applications will continue to be accepted throughout the year as space allows.
