After two years of research and analysis, the school board approved the district’s new strategic roadmap Dec. 14. The family, staff and community input that was part of the work, helped to improve the mission, vision, core values, and strategic directions of the district. These enhancements are considered the starting points for bringing Osseo Area Schools to the next level of excellence and giving students and families the educational experience they desire and deserve.
“I am very proud of the work of the district and school board; and truly to our scholars, families, staff and administrators that have really helped us get to this point,” said Board Chair Kelsey Dawson Walton.
The new roadmap has also helped to establish a three-year operational plan for the district. It ensures success is met by mapping out key projects and initiatives aligned to the district’s new strategic directions. Over the next year, department and school level three-year plans will also be created.
