Eight Osseo Area Schools students earn Moe123 scholarships
This winter, eight Osseo Area Schools students were named recipients of $5,000 scholarships from the Moe123 Scholarship Fund. Students earning scholarships are:
- Sophia Blashack, Maple Grove Senior High
- Christina Corniea, Osseo Senior High
- Kaj Tug Lee, Park Center Senior High
- Jenna Moseng, Maple Grove Senior High
- Charley Sawicky, Osseo Senior High
- Matia Solomon, Osseo Senior High
- Minh Tong, Park Center Senior High
- Alanna Worrall, Osseo Senior High
The Moe123 Scholarship Fund was created in honor of Mostafa "Moe" Sarim, a Park Center Senior High alumnus who passed away unexpectedly in 2018 at the age of 41. Sarim's thirst for learning was undeniable, and his family hopes the scholarship fund will keep his memory alive by helping passionate, like-minded students make the world a better place—just like he did.
