Get involved and make a difference at Osseo Area Schools. Three district-level advisory committees are looking for parent/guardian volunteers who are interested in influencing the direction of the district’s enrollment/capacity, emergency management, and financial matters.
Enrollment and Capacity Management Advisory Committee (ECMAC)
The Enrollment and Capacity Management Advisory Committee (ECMAC) meets five to six times during the year to increase community trust in long-range planning for enrollment and building use. The advisory committee analyzes information affecting enrollment, capacity, and building use, and generates observations and recommendations to be communicated to district administration.
Risk and Emergency Management Team
On the Risk and Emergency Management Advisory Committee (REMAC), committee members work with district and school staff and city emergency services personnel to improve and support the execution of the district’s risk and emergency management plan.
REMAC will meet six times during the school year. Apply online by Friday, Sept. 23.
FISCAL Advisory Team
The FISCAL (Financial Involvement School-Community Accountability Liaisons) advisory team helps shape the future for students, families and community members in Osseo Area Schools by providing community-based input and feedback on district financial matters.
FISCAL meetings take place virtually on Thursday evenings once a month in December, February and April. Meetings in November and January focus on budgeting and will take place during the day, or will be conducted through a survey. Apply online by Friday, Sept. 23.
