Josh Miller, a freshman at Maple Grove Senior High, was featured as a “Minnesotan to Meet” on WCCO-TV’s morning newscast April 25.
In addition to being a high school student and varsity tennis player for the Crimson, Miller is also the founder and CEO of Deciding Edge—a company that seeks to bridge the gap between today’s youth (“Generation Edge”) and corporations throughout the Twin Cities and across the nation. Miller and his team provide clients with innovative research, demographic data and advice about how to better connect with Generation Edge in order to make more informed decisions.
Miller’s entrepreneurial pursuits began during his time as a student at Basswood Elementary. As a recipient of the GenYOUTH Foundation’s Adventure Capital grant, Miller developed the “Motivational Mondays” initiative at Basswood that encouraged exercise among students.
