OASIS to offer presentations on childhood anxiety, parenting for peace, dealing with grief

Osseo Area Source of Information and Support (OASIS) will be offering two presentations this fall and winter.

Nov. 1: Understanding the Anxious Brain in Childhood by Lora Matz, LICSW – PrairieCare

Dec. 13: 8 Pillars of Parenting for Peace at Home: How to stop the fighting, yelling, and frustration by Samantha Moe, MA, SLP – Mad 2 Glad

Jan. 17: Grief by Marc Markell, PhD – St. Cloud State University

These presentations will take place from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Media Center at Weaver Lake Elementary, 15900 Weaver Lake Rd., Maple Grove.

Childcare is no longer provided during these presentations. Programs are open to all parents, caregivers and staff.
