KOPP ROSERose Ann Kopp has been named Osseo ESPs Local 7325 local winner and is an eligible candidate for the 2016 Educational Support Professional of the Year state level award. The Educational Support Professional of the Year award is determined by a three-member selection committee each year. This annual local honor recognizes an ESP's professional work.

Kopp has been a Special Education ESP at Brooklyn Middle School for the past 28 years. She has worked with students across a broad age span and varying abilities. Kopp currently works in the Skills program where she assists students with a variety of skills they will need to become as independent as possible. She believes that communication and teamwork are very important when working with students and staff.

According to her colleagues, Kopp is a very patient, kind, and flexible person who works hard and always thinks about what is best for her students.
