Park Center hosted six National Guard members to show them how the replacement of a large boiler plant is planned, what decisions were made concerning new equipment, and how the project was completed. They also learned about the latest in steam technology.

Infrastructure replacement is a significant issue for the school district as well as other government agencies, which made this a valuable opportunity to contribute to while serving as an example of a well-planned large-scale boiler replacement project.

The Park Center Senior High/Brooklyn Middle School boiler project was a $1 million-plus project that needs to be replicated at North View Middle, Osseo Middle, Zanewood, Garden City and Park Brook contributing to $235 million of similar deferred maintenance issues throughout our system.
