Osseo Senior High School Teacher named KS95 Teacher of the Week
LeRoyce Boldt, social studies teacher at Osseo Senior High School, was named a KS95 Teacher of the Week. Boldt was nominated by one of her students and recognized on air by the morning show hosts.
“She cares for her students and she helps them with knowledge, even when they are going through a hard time. She is very caring, not only for the students she has in her class but all of the students at the school. She knows how to light up a room and her positivity is contagious,” her student wrote in the nomination.
The morning show hosts asked her about her favorite part of her job and when she knew she wanted to be a teacher. She will also be celebrated at a dinner at the end of the school year with other Teacher of the Week winners.
“I always say it sounds a little crazy at first but I love teenagers. I think they are so fun to hang out with and I remember being that age and how full of life teenagers are,” Boldt said. “They have such a capacity to do big things and change the world and help to do something great. I walk into my job loving to be around these kids every day.”
