Procurement and Contracts

Osseo Area Schools purchasing department operates a centralized procurement and contracting model to secure goods and services for our staff and scholars. We do this with a focus on cost containment, open competition and transparency while ensuring processes that align with federal and state law, board policy, administrative procedure, and our strategic priorities. 

Procurement oversight spans two departments, Purchasing and Warehousing.  These two departments collaborate to oversee:

  • purchasing,
  • warehoused stock inventory,
  • receiving,
  • surplus inventory,
  • distribution of equipment and supplies,
  • interschool mail service,
  • asset disposition, and
  • district-wide furniture standards.
