Self-help technology resources for students and families  Help me now

Following an Executive Order issued by Governor Walz, the district's distance learning plan is continuing through the end of the school year (updated 4/23/20). Extended Flex Learning (distance learning) is a new process, and we are excited to have it available as we strive to provide real-world learning experiences for each student. We know there will be some updates to the process as we engage in this experience for the first time. We appreciate your flexibility and understanding in advance as we work to support students. The full cooperation of students, teachers and parents will be needed to make instruction meaningful and in compliance with the full expectations of Minnesota statutes.

Equal Access to Learning

Osseo Area Schools is committed to providing resources and opportunities for all students to engage in meaningful learning. To ensure this commitment, Osseo Area Schools will provide technology to each family for the use of distance learning. In grades 4-12 each student is provided a Chromebook or iPad. Students in grades K-3 who do not have a sibling in grades 4-12, will be provided one iPad per household for use during extended flex learning.

Instructional materials will be provided in a variety of ways. Materials will primarily be provided digitally through Schoology, email, and/or Seesaw; however, alternative printed methods, such as mail, pickup, or delivery may be used in instances where students have limited digital access. Please review our section on broadband (internet) access for resources if you have limited internet access.
