Human Sexuality Curriculum Advisory Committee (HSAC)

HSAC membership is based on interest, not educational expertise. Members include:

• One parent/guardian representative from each elementary site
• Up to two parent/guardian representatives from each secondary site
• One student representative from each high school
• A non-voting designee of the superintendent who functions as a liaison among the superintendent, the advisory committee, and writing teams

Parents/guardians and high school students interested in serving on HSAC should contact their building principal.

Membership terms are two years; terms may be extended or renewed upon request from the director of curriculum, instruction and educational standards.

HSAC meetings take place three times per year at the Educational Service Center (11200 93rd Ave. N Maple Grove). Additional meetings or extended meetings may be required.
