Osseo Hockey players demonstrate commitment to community
By engaging in community service this spring, Osseo Hockey players demonstrated their commitment to community in support of the ISD 279 mission. As part of a program called Rake, Rattle and Roll sponsored by Handworks, Co-Head Coach Kevin Willey and players Sam Windle, Tom Windle, Kean Paxton, and James Hansen raked lawns and completed yard work for Minneapolis seniors and disabled adults, enabling them to remain independent in their homes. Way to go, Team!

ISD 279 summer food service program
ISD 279–Osseo Area Schools is extending its summer food service program for kids 18 and under. Meals will be provided to all children free of charge, and adult meals will be available at $2 for breakfast and $3 for lunch. Learn more >>

June 27 Osseo Marching Band Festival spotlights local student musicians, long-time ISD 279 instructor
The third annual Osseo Marching Band Festival takes place on Saturday, June 27. Hosted by the Osseo Band Boosters, the festival is a family-friendly event featuring a parade-style marching band competition between high school marching bands from Minnesota and Wisconsin, including our system’s own Osseo, Park Center and Maple Grove High Schools.
