Emily Ford
OSH senior Emily Ford named Channel 12 Standout Student
Channel 12 recently recognized senior Emily Ford of Osseo Senior High as a Standout Student. As vice president of the National Honor Society and a Junior Rotarian, Emily was lauded for leading in both the classroom and in her community. As described by teacher and coach Matt Ferry, “Emily is going to do well in life. In whatever she chooses, she's going to find a way to be successful.” Best of luck to Standout Student Emily Ford as she pursues post-secondary education in engineering.

Cheer on an ISD 279 student musician during "Music in Our Schools Month"
The National Association for Music Education has declared March "Music in Our Schools Month," an annual public outreach program designed to support school music programs and raise awareness of the importance of music education. You can support a student musician during "Music In Our Schools Month" by attending an upcoming concert or musical. IB Chillin team
ISD 279 staff embark on a chilly adventure to raise money for charity, inspire students
Twenty-one staff members from Park Center Senior High and North View Junior High participated in the Minneapolis Polar Plunge March 6 to raise money for Special Olympics and to model commitment to community for students. Both schools offer International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum, part of which reinforces the value and importance of service learning. The I.B. Chillin' team dedicated its chilly adventure to students and raised a total of $2,967. See the plunge replay on YouTube.
