School-age Care - Welcome

Kidstop is a quality, year-round, school-age care program offered for kindergarten-6th graders to meet the childcare needs of parents in Independent School District 279. Kidstop functions as an extension of the elementary school day.

Kidstop Program Features

Safe, fun, structured environment in which your child/ren experiences learning through a multi-range of activities

Kindergarten children have access to the school hot lunch program at school lunch prices

Off-site trips: Eight-to-ten all-site trips are scheduled on non-school days throughout the school year.

Other Programs within Kidstop

Kidstop, Four Star Express and Cosmic Club (summer only) are self-supporting services offered through Independent School District 279 Community Education & Services Department.

Four Star Express:
A childcare preschool program that supports the care and early learning needs of families with four-year-old children in District 279.

4Star LOCATIONS: Cedar Island Elementary, Woodland Elementary and Weaver Lake STEM.
