The English Language Learner Program promotes strong foundations for academic achievement and English language proficiency for students whose first language is not English, or who have learned English outside of the United States. The goal of ELL is to support students in acquiring academic language and building background knowledge necessary to participate successfully in mainstream classes.
ELL intake services help schools by identifying the needs of ELL students and facilitating a smooth transition to school.
