GED Prep and GED-i (online)

GED Prep (classroom) and GED-i (online) help learners study and prepare to take the GED test.  Students can work in the classroom, online with classroom support or totally online.
The GED tests are five tests in the areas of Language Arts-Writing, Language Arts-Reading, Social Studies, Science and Mathematics.  Learners can take practice tests to help see where they need to build skills.  After students successfully complete practice tests and build confidence, they are ready to take the official GED tests.  For more information on the GED in Minnesota, click here.

To participate in GED-i, students go through the registration and testing process at the Adult Education Center.  To be successful in GED-i, students need: a score of 570 or higher on the TABE D, reliable access to a computer, good technology skills (e-mail and keyboarding) and to be able to come in for periodic testing to assess progress.
