Ms. Becky Hespen
Where did you go to school and what is your previous job experience? graduated from Havre High School in Havre, Montana. I went to college for a year at Montana State University for a year. I then had children, but went back to school when my olderst son graduated from Park Center in 1998. I finished my AA degree at North Hennepin in December of 2003. I have worked for Osseo Schools for 17 years as an ESP (Educational Support Professional). I worked at North View Jr. High, OSTC, CBVAT How long have you worked at Park Center? 2004-2005 Why did you choose your profession? I love my job, I get to work with students that I really enjoy, but I don't have to be responsible for all the paperwork that the teachers do. In what room(s) can you commonly be found? Room 181 Additional Comments(hobbies)? Besides working as an ESP I am the President of Education Minnesota Osseo ESP. I also am on a couple of state committees and one committee for AFT (American Federation of Teachers). Advice for students going to college? Enjoy the experience and it is never to late to learn something new. If you were required to find a different job than what you are currently doing, what would you choose? If I wasn't working at Park Center I would be doing union work full time. I really enjoy it and am seriously considering going back to school to be better at it.
