Where did you go to school and what is your previous job experience?
I earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in Spanish Studies and also in Communications Studies at the University of Minnesota –Twin Cities. I worked in medical research for a few years before deciding to go back to school to become a Spanish teacher.
I completed my teaching license at Hamline University and am nearly finished with my master’s degree.
When did you begin working at Park Center?
I started at PC in the fall of 2009.
What is your favorite quote?

In what room(s) can you commonly be found?
I can be found in the Student Support office.
Additional Comments(hobbies)?
I love to travel and most recently visited Spain this summer. I also enjoying designing and sewing clothes and other items for myself and others. ‘
I run for fun and for my health. The longest race I’ve completed is the Twin Cities Marathon (26.2 miles).
Advice for students going to college?
Study abroad!! Almost any college can connect you with a program in almost any country of the world. You can go for a few weeks, a semester, or a whole year. It will be an experience you’ll never forget or regret! (I spent a semester in Toledo, Spain.)
Biggest pet peeve?
Excuses.
Sum up your career at Park Center in one word
Rewarding.
If you were required to find a different job then what you are currently doing, what would you choose?
Forensic science. I’d be one of the detectives on “The First 48” piecing together clues to solve the crime before it’s too late.
