Where did you go to school and what is your previous job experience? University of Wisconsin-River Falls, this is my third year! When did you begin working at Park Center? September 2008 What is your teaching philosophy? I will do my best to use an eclectic, student-centered approach in my teaching in order to give my students the best education possible. Why did you choose your profession? I chose teaching because I’m excited about learning and wanted to share that excitement with students. What is your favorite quote? "Learning is a treasure which accompanies its owner everywhere." In what room(s) can you commonly be found? 326 Additional Comments(hobbies)? I play capoeira (a Brazilian martial art), coach the Maple Grove Nordic Ski team and the district Synchronized Swim Team, and I also enjoy swimming, skiing, and traveling. Advice for students going to college? Don’t worry if you haven’t chosen your major yet, you’ve got plenty of time and don’t be afraid to follow your heart. Biggest pet peeve? People with negative attitudes. Sum up your career at Park Center in one word Awesome! If you were required to find a different job then what you are currently doing, what would you choose? I would like to be an interpreter or translator.
