Where did you go to school and what is your previous job experience? I went to the University of Minnesota- TC for my Bachelor’s in Physics. I also studied Math and Astronomy there. I am currently working on finishing my Masters in Education at the U as well. What year did you start working at Park Center? 2006 What is your teaching philosophy? I want to help students find the excitement in learning and asking questions. I also want to help students to better understand the world around them. Why did you choose your profession? I always had awesome science teachers! I found I was very excited about sharing my science knowledge with others, and that I enjoy working with high school students. What is your favorite quote? Imagination is more important than knowledge. -- Albert Einstein In what room(s) can you commonly be found? 120, 116, or the Science Office Additional Comments(hobbies)? I love to swim, read and spend time with my family. Advice for students going to college? College is hard work. Do your best and ask questions if you don’t understand. Biggest pet peeve? When people are disrespectful towards each other. Sum up your career at Park Center in one word Awesome!!! If you were required to find a different job than what you are currently doing, what would you choose? I would either work as a stage manager for a theater company, or else as an engineer/physicist.
