Where did you go to school and what is your previous job experience? Graduate school: University of WI - LaCrosse How long have you worked at Park Center? Since 1997. What is your teaching philosophy? Make learning interesting and have it pertain to the students so they "buy in to" the concepts & what they can gain from your subject matter. Why did you choose your profession? I had an amazing student teaching experience. I originally was looking at Cardiac Rehab but changed my mind when many patients referred to their lack of education on living a healthy lifestyle. What is your favorite quote? "He who would like to have something that he never had, will have to do something well that he hasn't done yet." In what room(s) can you commonly be found? Rm. 191/ Weight Rm. or various gyms Additional Comments(hobbies)? Swimming, reading, computers, and family time. Advice for students going to college? Research well the prequisites for area of interest, as well as college requirements and atmosphere. Biggest pet peeve? People who have preconceived notions. Get to know the individual / situation first.
