Where did you go to school and what is your previous job experience?

University of Minnesota for a B.S. in Kinesiology and a M.Ed. in Physical Education. I’ve taught physical education and D/APE in the district since 1998 at the high school, junior high, and elementary levels.

When did you begin working at Park Center?

December of 2009.

What is your teaching philosophy?

Helping students reach their potential.

Why did you choose your profession?

To helping students reach their potential (sounds familiar)

Coaching soccer and hockey, camping, travel, reading

Advice for students going to college?

DO NOT make your focus hanging out. You’ve already got that mastered. Learn how to work.

Biggest pet peeve?

People who give up too early.
