Where did you go to school and what is your previous job experience?
In high school I work with my dad in a control panel shop. Basically I would wire panels that were used to control different things like cement trucks booms, sewage water, even to control the Wild Thing at valley fair (though I didn’t wire that one). I went to the U of M in Duluth, student taught at Park Center, and then got this teaching job.

What is your teaching philosophy?
Teach the real things, teach to challenge, and do not allow failure. Keep an open mind, be flexible and creative. Believe in what you are saying.
Why did you choose your profession?
I want to do something different every minute of every day.

Additional Comments(hobbies)?
I have Twins season tickets, love to kite board. I wish I were better at crossword puzzles, I studied for a semester in Australia. Went to Cooper High School but can respect the green and yellow.
Advice for students going to college?
Go somewhere that will challenge you academically, personally, socially. Don’t be afraid to make new friends. Don’t spend all of your financial aide in one place. Study abroad.
Biggest pet peeve?
Those who are cold (hearted).

I was never good enough at baseball, but I think I could be a commentator.
