Elk River Area Senior High…class of 1999 University of Minnesota – Major in Mathematics….Minor in Art When did you begin working at Park Center? 2004 What is your teaching philosophy? My goal is to create a classroom environment that is supportive and encouraging, while at the same time challenging. I believe if a student feels comfortable and respected in class they will be able to concentrate on their education. Why did you choose your profession? I wanted a job that was challenging and creative…I have found that working with 120 students each day is just that. In what room can you commonly be found? Room 108 What is your favorite quote? “To teach is not to tell…to teach is to give an opportunity to learn” – my 10th grade biology teacher
