The Electronic Medium

"Pssst, hey you, come over here, I have a secret to share. This one is gonna rock your world, you ready?... Here it is, Writing is not limited to Books! Imagine that."
I have found that a common misconcpetion lies in the belief that authors only work on publishing books. This is not the case.
You know all those shows you like? All those comics, all those movies, many of the games you have played. All of them were written in a book-like format. The plots for all those movies don't pop out of thin air and into the Director's head, though the Director's may have created the original idea, or helped in creating the script. But in the end, every movie you have ever seen is written very much like a book. The job is called screenwriting, it is where a person, known as a screenwriter(duh) writes down everything that it going to happen within the plot-line. Well, not literally everything, but all of the dialogue, the scenery, and often the actions of the characters are all developed within the screenwriting department.
