Alright, here's the part where I was going to go around and get interview past or present wheels and blades students and add their responses to the bottom of the page. As you can see I didn't have time to go and ask people questions so I left my old friend Goeff's interviews up so you can get a feel for the class even though you may not know anyone in the interviews.

SORRRY!!!

First We'll ask some questions to some kids who've actually taken the class... including me...
So what do you like about Wheels & Blades?

Geoff Christ -The class is a major stress reliever when you wanna get away from it all. You don't have to deal with as much crap when you're on your wheels... well, unless you're me, and those wheels are flippin' around under you. But to be totally honest, the class ain't half as awesome as it was in the past.

Ant Luu - As long as I'm skating and not wearing shorts, I'm ok.

Jake Miller - It's pretty.... pretty goooooooooood...

Darrell Cr...Cra... eh, Darrell is fine - That class is friggin' uhhh, awesome.

What's "_ the best part" of Wheels & Blades?

Geoff - What "was" the best part was the freedom we used to have to just go anywhere we wanted to pretty much. I kind of miss the ability to just be able to chill out and go to SuperAmerica/Subway any time that I needed to. Now it's "Palmer Lake Park East," or "Central Park." Either way, I'm skating, but it's like a waste of time when you have nothing to skate out there. I'm pretty sure rock climbing has taken a giant leap forward in awesomeness now that I can climb up the wall without someone holding me in place.

Ant - Eh, I still get to skate and do my own thing. That's what I signed up for.

Jake - Rock climbing, so I can work out my buff self

Darrell - Riding up really close to Geoff so that he can't do any tricks from me distracting him! HAHAHAHA TEABAG, GEOFF!

How about the teachers?

Geoff - Back when MATTSON was here, things were PIMP... but now, well... Westy was good at teaching it, but he complained a lot about the skateboarding. Ms. Burmester was awesome, though.

Ant - As long as I don't get bothered by stupid crap, I'm ok. Sometimes it's good to take a break from skating when you get to rock climb and unicycling is pretty awesome.

Jake - I think I only have had Sorenson, so yea, she made the class pretty cool.

Darrell - Good God, Geoff, what do YOU think!?!

Any Problems with the class?

Geoff - Well, not really, the lack of freedom this year is a big let down, but otherwise, I'm carefree.

Ant - Nope.

Jake - Not that I can think of... well, I guess it gets boring when you have no one to chill with in that class... well, I don't really say chill, but just this once.

Darrell - NO WAY!

Any last comments?

Geoff - A word to the wise, don't waste your time here if you're gonna be a whiner in this class.

Ant - Uhmmm... no.

Jake - Oh, so comments from me, huh? Well, it's your lucky day. I have nothing to say, so you can just shove it. *In skateboarding terms, of course*

Darrell - Like 7.

So let's see what EVERYONE ELSE thinks of Wheels & Blades!

Question #1: What is your first impression when you hear about Wheels & Blades?
ex. Geoff Christ: I see it as an oppurtunity to improve my skateboarding ability.

Sammie Rapaport: My very favorite class.

Ryan Carraux: I didn't take it. I thought it was stupid cause you only could rollerblade.

Question #2: How did you hear about Wheels & Blades?
ex. Geoff Christ: I found out about it through the Park Center Student Handbook when I chose my classes when I was a Sophomore.

Sammie Rapaport: Through you, Geoff, cause you were so excited about it!

Ryan Carraux: From the book thingy they made me read.

Question #3: What problems did you think of when it comes to Wheels & Blades?

ex. Geoff Christ: For some reason I thought we'd actually do something irrelevant and difficult, but this class is actually very easy.

Sammie Rapaport: Winter. The inability to have the class in the Winter time.

Ryan Carraux: That I'd have to rollerblade for an hour, I'm lazy so I couldn't do that.

Question #4: Has there ever been a problem with going place to place in this class?

ex. Geoff Christ: Well, there was this one time, last year I think, where I crashed my knee really bad on a twig lying on the sidewalk... I've yet to have much problems trying to get to where I was going otherwise.

Sammie Rapaport: No.

Ryan Carraux: I wouldn't know, I've never taken the class.

Question #5: What do you think of the other students who take Wheels & Blades as an elective?

ex. Geoff Christ: I enjoy seeing what the other students do in this class, there's always something new to do and it never ceases to amaze me of how much innovation is put into this class.

Sammie Rapaport: I hate them cause they smell funny.

Ryan Carraux: I think they're fat, cause they took the class in the first place to lose weight... because they're fat... I'm cool.

Question #6: What can you expect in the near future of Wheels & Blades?

ex. Geoff Christ: I can see lots of skateboarders using this class, well... to skate, I dunno, this class seemed to get a lot more popular because of it. Hopefully with all these, budget issues, a class like this won't go down or anything. I can never imagine what this school would be like without Wheels & Blades...

Sammie Rapaport: Frick, I don't know.

Ryan Carraux: That no one will take it cause all the wheels in the world will blow up so no one can take it.
