Jammer

This machine, which is very useful for football players, provides explosiveness in the upper body as well as additonal strength in the thighs and hamstrings. A variety of exercises can be perfomed with the jammer. This is probably one of the most important machines in the weightroom.
Although there are multiple exercises that can be performed on the jammer, only the original way will be explained for the web designer's sake. The lifter must begin by placing themselves in the machine with their buttox slightly resting on the lower support bar and have a firm grip on the handles of the machine. From the staring position, extend the entire body (both arms and legs) so the the lifter's legs and arms are completely extended and locked straight. From here, the lifter must return to the starting position slowly and with control in order to obtain the full effect of the workout.
