Well since this is strength and conditioning class the two main things to do are lift and cardio. There are a number of apparattuses to choose from for either activity so theres something for everyone. Theres too many different machines to list so ill just cover a few of the main ones.

Cardio:bike/treadmill/elliptical

And then after your cardio warm up you go lift depending on what day it is whether it's legs and shoulders day or chest/back/arms day.

One of the main lifts in the weight room is the bench-press.

A variation of the benchpress is the inclined bench press.

Another one of the main lifts is the squat.

Another upper body lift is the iso-lateral row machine.

Dumbells are also popular because of the variety of workouts you can do with them.
