The first assignment in Photography A is the pinhole camera assignment. The pinhole camera assignment teaches you what you need to make a basic camera. For the assignment you use a light tight box (a coffee can) with a hole in it, a shutter (thick paper placed over the whole), tin foil with a pinhole in the middle, tape, and a piece of photography paper. After you make the camera, you take the picture and develop it to get the negative, and then use a machine to make a positive and develop that piece of photographic paper. After you develop the picture you mount both the negative and positive and turn them in.
