HP Pre-Calculus A, B and C
Course Numbers: 8381, 8382 and 8383
Requirements: Teacher's recommendation plus; A-Integrated III with with "B" and above, B-HP Pre-Calculus A, C-HP Pre-Calculus B
This class is for academically talented and gifted students in math who are interested in a math related career. Teachers empasize accelerated pacing, in-depth coverage, interdiscipliny study, professional thinking skills, and quality roducs. The class materials include review and some ne topics from Integrated III and exposes students to trigonometry, sequences and series, vectors and matrices. This class prepares students for college. A graphing calculator is highly recommended for this class and a 'TI 83 Plus' is suggested. Note: Students have to register for the full year.
