AP Calculus (BC) A, B and C

Requirements: A-HP Calculus, B-AP Calculus (BC) A, C- AP Calculus (BC) B
This class is similar to the first two trimesters of College Calculus, and is designed for academically talented and gifted math students. Topics (Identical to Calculus AB) include: analytic geometry, functions, limits, continuity, differentiation with applications, integration, and logarithmic, exponential, and trigonomic functions. Topics unique to Calculus BC include: analysis of planar curves, L'Hospital's Rule, Euler's method, additional techniques for differentiation, improper integrals, series and Taylor series. A rigorous mathematical background is required for the pace of this class which covers aproximateley 30% more materials than Calculus AB. Students are encouraged to take the Advanced Placement Calculus AP exam
(Version BC of the exam). A qualifying score on this exam, as determined by individual colleges and universities may allow students to test out of some college math or to recieve college math credits.
