Ah choreography, the thing that is the show. The choreography for the past 3 years, including this 2007's show was done by none other than a parade judge himself, Leon Sieve.

Mr. Sieve is an amazing choreographer, and has made the shows more amazing every year he's been witht the band.

For 2005, when the band played Riverdance, Mr. Sieve made came up with a wonderful show, that including moving into diamonds, and a moving diagonal that, from above and the sides, looked like a flowing river.

For 2006, when the band played Quidam, from Cirque Du Soleil, he upped the ante for the show. In this show, the band again did a river-like move, b ut it was more angles than flowing river. They also did diamonds again, but this time the diamonds were much bigger, and they were subdivided into smaller diamonds within. The new move that upped the ante was the band going down on 1 knee, and playing in that position while the drumline marched through to the front. It was amazing, and it was the show when the band recieved their school-record-breaking score of 91.5 at the Roger's parade before Alexandria.

This year's show has been upped ten-fold from the last however. This year the band and colorguard have got boxes on the street with them. That's right, you heard me, boxes. Now the real question is, what do they do with the boxes? Well, let me tell you. The color guard dance on and around the boxes with flags and rifles. Half of the woodwinds sit on the boxes, but the real kicker is that the other half of the woodwinds stand on the boxes! That's right! They have to march up onto these boxes which are roughly the height of folding chair, and the other half sits on the same boxes while the ones standing are still up there! In Mr. Sieve's own words, "You will never have another choreographer as crazy as me, to put boxes on the road with you. It's just like adding another 20 or so people onto the road that you have to march with. It's another obstacle, but I believe you can do it. You're one of the best."

Mr. Sieve has been with them for four years, and here's to hoping he stays and brings them more astonishing shows!
