What does the Middle Years Programme consist of?
The MYP includes eight subject areas:
• Language A (English)
• Language B (a world language)
• Humanities
• Sciences
• Mathematics
• The Arts
• Physical Education
• Technology
In addition to the eight subject areas, five "areas of interaction" are the keys to the MYP and are integrated into all subject areas.
These areas of interaction include:
• Development of effective study skills
• Participation in community service
• Appreciation for personal health and social education
• Understanding of environmental responsibility
• Expression of creativity in various areas of interest
The MYP is a comprehensive approach to education that is appropriate for all students.
