Students who are absent for 15 consecutive days because of the same illness, may receive homebound instruction. This involves a teacher coming to the home to provide help of up to one hour per week in each of the student's classes. If a 15 day absence can be anticipated, parents may submit a physician's statement to verify the reason for the absence. All requests for homebound instruction should be directed to the assistant principal. This program will be provided at district expense when appropriate.
