Exercise Links

Before you begin, go View Source, File...Save As this Wordpad document to your Exercise Folder on your harddrive. Save as Firstname.LastName.Exlinks.htm . Also, right mouse click on the image below and save a copy of it into your exercise folder.

#1. Remove the text on this line and create a link to your Exercise BT in your folder on your harddrive. Try to use a creative, descriptive statement for your link, not "click here".

#2. Remove the text on this line and create a link with descriptive language (careful now!) to Maple Grove High School's homepage.

#3. Remove the text on this line and create a descriptive link to www.educationworld.com. Make the clickable link this time be the image of the "Cool School" award we won the first year of this class:

#4. Repeat question #3 but this time remove the blue border around the image:

#5. Remove this text and create a link to email the webmaster at EducationWorld.com. The email address is webmaster@education-world.com.Note: When you click the link, it will do nothing because you don't have an email program on your computer. That's ok, I just want you to practice making an email link.

#6. This one's kind of tricky, so check out "anchors" in our book. Create a link right under the title of this page(Exercise Links)that when you click it will jump you down to Question #6, this question.

Save this document when you are done. Do a File.... Save As...Firstname.Lastname.exlinks.htm an extra copy into the Rholl/Exercise Links folder on the server.
