Welcome to the PC Drama page! Here at Park Center, Drama is one of the most successful and interactive organizations that has been around since the school opened back in the 70's. Drama is a great way to meet new people and interact with others who might share a similar interest in acting. Drama allows you to be yourself and express your creativity on a whole other level through body language and of course...acting. It exercises great social skills and is a great way to enhance your creativity through an open mind. And of course, drama wouldn't be so great if it wasn't any fun. You'll be able to have a wonderful time laughing and doing something that makes you feel comfortable.
The drama department does three shows every year. The first show starts in the fall and is three acts long. The second show, held during the winter is the shorter, one act play. The third and usually most exciting show is the spring musical. For all shows you can either decide to be an actor who performs on stage, or a techie who runs everything behind the scenes. For the musical, however, you also have the option of joining the Pit Orchestra, which plays the music that the performers sing along to. No matter what you decide, you will be faced with plenty of challenges. Don't worry, though, because it is always an exciting and enjoyable journey.
