Kristin Elmquist, Social Studies: It's good for the school. Discussions in class are more diverse. The students are able to identify with different people since they have much more experience with so many different kinds of students from many different places. The studens are exposed to a wide range of people. Even though students might sit in certain places in the lunchroom and such, no one has a problem working with each other in class. |

Kathleen Kinney: English I think it is absolutely a necessity to have diversity in a school's setting. Park Center's diversity represents a slice of the world because it gives us a taste of everything. I get to meeet people from places around the world, and students get to interact with people from different cultures |

Sally Wojahn, Mathematics: I think it's better for the school. I get the feeling that people are nicer to each other. No one has to fell like they need to fit in. Park Center has a better feeling than other schools I've worked at. Diversity makes the school a more interesting place and it gives people a chance to learn about other people. |

Janelle Moe, Science: Diversity definitely makes things more interesting. Basically, we have diversity and other schools don't. This is how the world today is like and students are able to see things differently. |
