As we all know, there have been some major changes to the curriculum here at Park Center. Due to the various numbers of cultures at the school, the school has now been turned into a IB(International Baccalaureate) School. The IB program is also what we know as a magnet program, in order to attract more students to come to our school, thus saving us more money.

I asked a couple of students on their opinions on the School's transformation.

The school is now underway for the Middle Years Program, or MYP. This program runs for students from the seventh grade up to the tenth grade, thus affecting every sophmore now at Park Center. Dont think that the classes or 2007-08 escaped this program, They are running a different program though, The Diploma Program is for these two classes, and it provides an extra challenge for students. Once the IB program is complete, there will be two different classes, One for the traditional classes, and another one for students who which to participate in the Diploma Program.
