Computer Science Vs. Computer Application

The definition of the two and their differences, can be confusing. Generally speaking, however, Computer Science explores the inner workings of the computer either from a software or a hardware point-of-view. Computer Applications deals with programs that add an extra interface(the application) between the hardware/software and the user. However, even computer scientists use applications, so the distinction can be a gray one.
