Teachers

Mrs. Hamre

Mrs. Hamre is one of our business teachers and has been teaching at Park center Senior High for 4 years. Before she taught at Park Center She was a business teacher at Maple Grove Sr. High. Altogether she has taught high school for 11 years. Though she probably won't admit it, she also taught 1 year at the Minneapolis Business College. Mrs. Hamre teaches Business and Personal law, Intro to Business, Beginning Computers, Accounting, Sports & Entertainment Marketing, Key Boarding, Money Management, and last but not least Advanced Accounting. I don't think there is anyway possible that she could teach all of these classes but she some how manages to, just like superman. I asked Mrs. Hamre a few questions about teachings and here are her responses:

Q: Mrs. Hamre, what do you like most about teaching and why?

A: The Variety. No to days are ever the same. I like working with teenagers, they are so unpredictable but likeable at the same time. And you can kid around with them too.

Q: Do you have any hobbies outside of school?

A: NO, I live in school!Just kidding! I like books and I read all of the time. When the weather is good I like to garden. Digging, pruning, planting, weeding, and getting dirty.

Q: If you could teach any other department which one would it be and why?

A: It would probably be Social Studies because I like history. Now I wish I would have paid more attention to it in High School. I had a great professor my freshman year of college who made history come alive and he had a great sense of humor as well.
