Once jake gets into the room he meets Zamara a nearly dead protoss preserver(someone who preserves the memories of almost every protoss that has ever lived and died over millions of years) who links her mind to his and "downloads" her mind and spirit into his body thus giving him the memories of almost all protoss over millions of years.
Book 2 of 3: Shadow Hunter
This book takes place literally a second or two after the first book ends and jake finally gets to the homeworld of the protoss but when he gets there he discovers that it was turned from a beautiful world to a chared remain of what it was by the zerg and he also finds that some protoss were left behind and there is a small war going on between them. this book is so huge and expect to see characters like kerrigan the queen of blades show up to make for great reading so please check this and firstborn out their so good.
