Marching Band

The Park Center Marching Band plays at a variety of parades and events, including Tater Daze. They also take part in many competitions where they have won the Grand Championship in 1997, 1999, 2001, 2003, 2007, and 2008.

In these competitions, they are judged in a variety of categories.

• Music Execution: The accuracy and quality of the song. Correct notes, dynamics, etc.
• Music Effect: The mood of the song.
• Visual Execution: Marching tecniques, keeping in step. The non-musical aspect of the performance.
• Visual Effect: How the visuals affect the audience. The "mood" of the visuals.
