When troubleshooting a PC it is important to always assume that there is only one problem or fault. This is because most of the time there is an error with a PC, there is only one problem that can branch off to cause other problems. Your goal for troubleshooting is to get down to the core of the problem and fix it. This will almost always solve typical PC problems.

In A+ class, troubleshooting is a big part of the grade. Troubleshooting can be very frustrating at times. Most of the frustration occurs when students don't follow directions and ignore the troubleshooting diagram. You will be constantly working with troubleshooting diagrams if you take this class. A troubleshooting diagram is a diagram used as steps to guide you to find the main source of problem with the PC. Below are a couple of troubleshooting diagrams that you will encounter while taking A+.
