In Advisory we do the following activities:Advisory Folder Updates; Advisory Intramural Teams; Class Activities/ Meetings; Class Cabinet Business; Conferences/Advisory; CPR.; Credit Checks; Graduation Information; Guidance (Teacher/Counselor); Locker Cleanup; Picture Re-Takes; Registration/Tally; Special Programs (Speakers); Standardized School/Grade Testing; Student Newspaper ; Student Senate Input Discussions; Surveys; Class Ring Sales/Homecoming/Sno-Daze; Make-up tests/work; Pep Fests; Scheduled Parties; Voting; Yearbook Activities
In Advisory we do things from Graduation planning, and talking about guidelines. Advisory is also the place for Homework and quiet reading when there is nothing planned for the day. If we talk quuietly we could get away with that too.
A Student asking Mr.Manders a question about what he should do for the period since he is done with his blue packet activity.
A student working on his Advisory packet and his other classmates around him are also working on the blue Advisory that you need to complete before the trimester ends, you need to complete the packet and get it approved by your Advisory teacher for you to be eligible to graduate and get your diploma.
Student Information Activities
Student information activities will occur from 8:45 a.m. - 8:55 a.m. each session. They will promote the communication and dissemination of information about programs, activities, and events at Park Center. It is also a time for students to participate in more informal socialization.
Student information activities will include:
- Reading Daily Bulletin
- Listening to P.A. Announcements
- Socialization of Students
