What is your teaching philosophy?
A teacher is a coach. The students are the athletes. Teachers provide instruction,
guidance and encouragement, but students have to do the work!
Why did you choose your profession?
Well, some people who know me might say I chose to be a teacher because I am bossy and
have “control” issues, BUT in reality I consider it a privilege to be allowed to play a
role in educating our community’s children.

Advice for students going to college?
Take Keyboarding. It will really pay off when you get to college and you have the
opportunity to write many papers!
Biggest pet peeve?
That has to be when a student comes to class without a pen or pencil! What was he or she
thinking?
