Park Center Senior High School; Brooklyn Park, MN, USA

The Future Educators Club is designed to encourage high school students to pursue post-secondary careers in education. They hope to enlarge the talent pool of teachers by creating positive images of teaching for students, parents and other citizens. Their culminating activity is a conference in the spring in which they compete with students in the seven member northwestern suburban districts.

For the 2008-2009 school year, the Future Educators Club meets twice a month on Thursdays in room 191 from 2:15 – 4:00pm. The meeting dates are as follows:

The club at PC has adopted Garden City elementary school for the 2008-2009 school year. They will volunteer on a bi-monthly basis to build a relationship with the teachers and students at Garden City.
