The Future Educators Club is designed to encourage high school students to pursue post-secondary careers in education. They hope to enlarge the talent pool of teachers by creating positive images of teaching for students, parents and other citizens. The Future Educators Club meet every third Thursday of every month (unless it falls on a holiday). Their culminating activity is a conference in the spring in which they compete with students in the seven member northwestern suburban districts.


The club at PC has adopted Birch Grove elementary school. They have begun a pen-pal relationship with Mrs. Porter’s sixth grade class and plan to visit BG several times throughout the school year to mentor the students. Future Educators Club advisor, Ms. Rosalind Bakion would like to say she is proud of the members of the club who are genuinely committed to academic success and who are initiating giving back to the community by reaching out to elementary age students!
