Full time Services Special Education – I collaborate tenth grade English with Ms. Carlson, twelve grade Political Science with Ms.Elmquist and have two Time Management classes.

I am either in the classroom or in my office room 304.
3. What previous job experience do you have?
I have been teaching since 2000 in a variety of schools St.Michael/Albertville, Isanti, Mora and Anoka/Hennepin

1. What is your job at Park Center(title and brief description)?
Not sure what my job title is but I’m in charge of truancy. Maybe Truancy Liaison would be appropriate.
2. Where do you work from(office, room, hours if not full day)?
Room 123. Hours vary – some in the morning, some in the afternoon.
3. What previous job experience do you have?
Before coming to PC, I was working for Family & Children’s Service conducting mental health assessments for youth. I’ve also worked for The Salvation Army doing crisis counseling and have worked in a day treatment program for court ordered youth.

I’m a Para and my main job is In School Suspension. I also work at switch board and in three different classrooms
2. Where do you work from(office, room, hours if not full day)?
I’m in the ISS room first and fifth hours, in the classrooms (214, 218 and 230) for second, third and fourth hours, and I am at switchboard in the front office during sixth hour

Graduating from college this semester…I have had a plethora of coaching, serving and administrative assistant jobs

-Kathleen Kinney-English Teacher
1. What is your job at Park Center(title and brief description)?
I am the new 11th grade English teacher. I teach two sections of English Writing 11 and three sections of English 11.
2. Where do you work from(office, room, hours if not full day)?
I am usually found in room 224. Lately, I’ve been arriving to school very early in the morning and usually leave around 3:00 or 3:30. Being a new teacher in a new school, part-way through the year, is a bit challenging, but so far I’m having a great time!
3. What previous job experience do you have?
I have had many occupations in my life. I have been a waitress, a clerk, a dispatcher, an office manager, and a corporate accountant. I went back to the University of Minnesota in 1997 to finish my English degree, so I could follow my dream of becoming a teacher. Since then, I have also completed my licensure course work and most of my Master’s degree work at Augsburg College. Previous to coming to Park Center Senior High, I was a part-time teacher in the Minnetonka School District for five years, a lead teacher at Sylvan Learning Centers, a private tutor, and a volunteer tutor. I am proud to be a part of PCSH and it has been a pleasure to be so warmly welcomed by everyone here. It is wonderful to come to such a great school with so many amazing students, and have it be the only place I go to each day!

1. What is your job at Park Center(title and brief description)?
I am working as a speech pathologist at PC on a part-time basis. Speech Pathologists work with students who have learning concerns due to a language, communication, or auditory processing difficulties, and we work with students who have articulation errors, stuttering concerns, or vocal nodules.
2. Where do you work from(office, room, hours if not full day)?
I work mostly from room 330, but may be found in other classrooms on the third floor as well.
3. What previous job experience do you have?
I have worked full time as a speech pathologist at various schools in the Osseo district for over 10 years. Before that, I worked in the Spring Lake Park District as a speech pathologist for 10 years.

-Sara Wittrock- Children and Family Services
1. What is your job at Park Center(title and brief description)?
I am the Family School Coordinator from Family & Children’s Service in Brooklyn Park. I work with students (mostly) and their families. I provide counseling, school help, resources, case management, etc. to help students (and their families) succeed.
2. Where do you work from(office, room, hours if not full day)?
I am located in the counseling office area, across the hall from Kelli Parpart’s office. I am here Monday – Friday all day, except for Thursday when I leave at 1:30.
3. What previous job experience do you have?
I worked as a graduate teacher’s assistant and a research assistant while attaining my degree. During that time, I spent my practicum experience/time at the ANNEX Teen Clinic in Robbinsdale as their sole counselor. I spent a short time in the private industry after graduation, but then came to Family & Children’s Service and Park Center to work with adolescents again.

Speech/Language Pathologist – help out on Fridays with students who have needs in speech and language .

Rm 330 speech office
3. What previous job experience do you have?
I have worked for the Osseo district as a speech/language pathologist for the past 29 years. I also worked as a speech pathologist at Willow Lane Early Childhood center.
