Will's statement submitted with his art: The green and grey represented opposites. The green was alone in the center because it represented a loner. The grey represented its outer environment. The green leaves flying through the foreground represented the green tree's effect on its environment. The image alone represents the single effect that one different thing can create in life - that one loner, green, can affect life and its society in more than just one way, as represented by the multiple leaves.
Not only does Park Center have two new classes in the Art Department, Computer Art A and B, but in its first trimester a PC student won an award for his work. Will W. was this year’s TIES technology contest high school winner. He was chosen among other student artists state wide. Will was awarded a poster of his art work, titled "Tranquil Dispel", and his teacher, Ms. LeClair, received Imagination Suite software programs for Park Center.

Congratulation Will and Ms. LeClair!
