That’s right! Even though it may come as a surprise to some of you, Asian Club is NOT just for Asians. The only reason that it’s even called Asian Club is because of the Asian theme involved in the meetings. Asian Club is there for students (of any culture) to hang out while learning about the Asian Culture. The officers even encourage everyone who attends Asian Club to bring their non-Asian friends! Asian Club is looking to increase the diversity of their attendees and break cultural barriers in the process. So anyone of any culture, race, gender, age, or anything is encouraged to attend Asian Club meetings. The next scheduled meeting is December 14th with more to follow after Winter Break. If you would like to know more about Asian Club or know the next time they meet feel free to ask an Asian near you. You can also look in the hallways for updates on some of the Asian Club related events.
