Choose any animal, bird, insect, reptile, etc. that you would like to know more about!

CONTENT

1. DESCRIPTION

Describe the animal you are researching, e.g. color, size, weight, etc.

2. HABITATION (SURROUNDINGS - WHERE THEY LIVE) 

Explain briefly where you are most likely to find the animal you are researching.

3. SURVIVAL

Discuss how the animal that you are researching survives in nature, for example what does it eat, how does it protect itself against enemies, etc.

4. INTERESTING FACTS

Provide three to five additional interesting facts that you discovered about the animal that you are researching.

RESEARCH

Use at least three resources to find the information for your assignment - one should be an encyclopedia article, and the other two should be Internet web sites. Use the strategies that you learnt about on the Surfing Safari - they'll help you find exactly what you're looking for!

PRESENTATION

Create a small PowerPoint presentation consisting of 5 (or more!) slides. You should have a title slide and one slide for each of the headings listed under "CONTENT". At least one of the slides should include a picture that you found on the Internet, although you are welcome to include more pictures elsewhere in your presentation.
